Digital Pros LLC ("Digital Pros," "we," "us," or "our") provides websites, brand and content tools, artificial-intelligence features, communications, billing, and social publishing services. This policy explains how we handle personal information when you visit DigitalPros.net, use the Digital Pros platform, communicate with us, or connect a third-party account such as Instagram or X.
1. Scope and our role
This policy applies to Digital Pros services that link to it. A business using Digital Pros may separately decide what information to collect through its own website, forms, store, agents, or campaigns. In those situations, that business may be the organization responsible for the information and its own privacy notice may also apply. We process that information to provide the services the business requested and may direct a privacy request to the appropriate business.
2. Information we collect
Account, identity, and contact information
We may collect names, business names, email addresses, phone numbers, account roles, login and verification information, profile details, preferences, and communications with Digital Pros. Passwords are stored as one-way hashes rather than readable passwords.
Brand, website, content, and service information
We process information submitted to build and operate a brand or website, including pages, articles, product or service details, contacts, appointments, service requests, newsletter information, digital business cards, projects, notes, uploaded documents, and image, audio, or video files. Content may include personal information about customers, employees, or other people when a user chooses to provide it.
AI and communications information
When AI, chat, voice, email, or text-message features are used, we may process prompts, messages, conversation history, files, generated responses, delivery information, and voice transcripts. Realtime voice audio is transmitted to provide the live session but is not stored by Digital Pros; the transcript and related usage records may be stored. Information sent to an AI feature may be provided to the AI service selected for that feature so it can generate the requested result.
Social account and publishing information
If a social account is connected, we may process its platform, account identifier, username or handle, account type, public profile details, granted permissions, encrypted access credentials, connection and refresh status, scheduled content, publishing instructions, and results such as a platform post identifier or URL.
Payment and transaction information
We process billing contacts, invoices, subscriptions, order and transaction amounts, payment status, and limited payment-method details such as card type, expiration, postal code, and last four digits. Payment card numbers and security codes are collected and processed by Stripe; Digital Pros stores provider references needed to charge an approved payment method rather than the full card number.
Device, cookie, and usage information
We collect page and feature activity, dates and times, a device or visitor identifier, session identifier, landing page, referring URL and domain, and campaign parameters such as UTM values. Our servers may also receive IP address, browser or device details, and security logs as part of ordinary web requests.
3. Instagram and Meta Platform data
Digital Pros uses the Instagram API with Instagram Login so an authorized business or creator can connect an Instagram professional account and allow Digital Pros to publish content that the user or an authorized brand manager approves or schedules. The permissions currently requested are instagram_business_basic and instagram_business_content_publish.
Through this integration, we may receive and use:
- Instagram and Meta account identifiers, username, account type, and public profile-picture URL;
- the permissions granted, access token, token expiration, and connection status;
- images, videos, captions, schedules, and other publishing instructions provided through Digital Pros; and
- publishing results, including media-container or post identifiers, status, and the resulting post URL.
We use this data only to connect and identify the selected account, display its connection status, prepare and publish authorized content, maintain or troubleshoot the connection, prevent unauthorized publishing, and respond to deauthorization or deletion requests. We do not ask for or store an Instagram password, sell Meta Platform data, or use Meta Platform data to build advertising profiles.
Content published to Instagram is also processed by Meta under Meta's privacy policy and applicable platform terms. A user can revoke Digital Pros access through Instagram or disconnect the account in Digital Pros. A verified Meta deauthorization request disables the matching connection and removes its credentials. A verified deletion request also removes the stored Instagram identifiers, profile details, and publishing-result data associated with that connection. See our Meta data deletion page for more detail.
4. How we use information
We use information to:
- provide, operate, personalize, and support the services requested by users and customer businesses;
- authenticate users, manage permissions, secure accounts, and prevent fraud or misuse;
- build and host websites, store content, run AI features, deliver communications, and publish approved social content;
- process payments, administer subscriptions and invoices, and maintain business and tax records;
- measure site and feature usage, attribute traffic, diagnose problems, and improve reliability;
- respond to support, privacy, legal, and security requests; and
- comply with law and enforce agreements.
Depending on the service and applicable law, we rely on performance of a contract, consent, legitimate business interests, or compliance with a legal obligation as the basis for processing.
5. How we disclose information
- Authorized users and customer businesses. Brand owners, administrators, team members, or other authorized users may access information within the permissions assigned to them.
- Service providers. We use providers for hosting and storage, databases, payments, AI models, email and text delivery, security, analytics, and technical support. They receive information needed to perform services for us or for the customer that configured the integration.
- Connected platforms. We send content and required account information to a platform such as Instagram, Meta, or X when an authorized user connects an account or requests publishing.
- Legal and safety reasons. We may disclose information when reasonably necessary to comply with law, legal process, or valid government requests; protect rights and safety; or investigate fraud, abuse, or security incidents.
- Business transfers. Information may be transferred as part of a merger, financing, acquisition, reorganization, or sale of all or part of the business, subject to applicable law.
Digital Pros does not sell personal information for monetary compensation. We do not sell or share Meta Platform data for cross-context behavioral advertising. A customer business may choose to configure its own analytics or advertising tags on its website; that business's notice and the third party's terms apply to those independently configured tools.
6. Cookies and analytics
Digital Pros uses cookies or similar browser storage for login, security, saved preferences, visitor and session identifiers, pending event delivery, landing-page attribution, and site functionality. The Digital Pros visitor identifier may remain for up to one year; session and authentication data use shorter or account-dependent lifetimes. You can control cookies through your browser, but disabling required cookies may prevent login or other features from working.
A customer website may enable Google Analytics, Google Ads, or another analytics service. Those services may set their own cookies and process information under their own privacy terms.
7. Data retention and deletion
We retain information for as long as reasonably needed to provide the services, maintain the customer or account relationship, secure the platform, resolve disputes, and meet legal, accounting, or reporting obligations. Retention depends on the type of record. For example, billing and transaction records may be kept longer than an inactive social connection. Backups may retain a copy for a limited period until they are replaced through the normal backup cycle.
When information is deleted, we remove or de-identify it from active systems unless retention is required for security, fraud prevention, legal compliance, dispute resolution, or another lawful purpose. We may retain aggregated information that no longer identifies an individual.
8. Your choices and privacy rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to request access to, correction of, a copy of, or deletion of personal information; object to or restrict certain processing; withdraw consent; or appeal a decision about a privacy request. You may also update account information, disconnect a social account, manage browser cookies, or unsubscribe using the instructions in a marketing message.
We may need to verify your identity and authority before completing a request. If Digital Pros processes the information for a customer business, we may refer the request to that business. We will not discriminate against a person for exercising an applicable privacy right.
9. Security
We use administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information, including access controls, encrypted network connections, hashed passwords, and encryption for stored social credentials. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
10. Children
Digital Pros services are intended for businesses and are not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13. Contact us if you believe a child provided personal information without appropriate authorization.
11. International processing
Digital Pros is based in the United States. Information may be processed in the United States and in other countries where our service providers operate. Where required, we use legally recognized safeguards for international transfers.
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when our services, integrations, or legal obligations change. We will post the revised policy here and update the effective date. We may provide additional notice when a change is material.
13. Contact Digital Pros
